BRIDGEMEN

BRIDGEMEN

We're a cross section of guys in their 30s and 40s, who are looking to reinvest in our community. We organize fun and relevant community service projects that provide leadership opportunities and build friendships. Our goal is to make San Francisco a safe and happy place for everyone - by building bridges between our many social networks through service and social awareness. There are many ways to get involved and make a difference:

  • Men's Monthly Meet-up: This group meets once a month to plan our key volunteer activities and examine what's happening in our communities. We meet for two hours in the early evening, usually over dinner or drinks at a neighborhood restaurant. Our next meet-up will take place on Wednesday, May 16th at The Lounge at Lookout.  If you're interested in joining us, contact Frank.
  • Volunteer Projects: Every month, the group picks a local volunteer project and goes as a group. It could be a clean up day at Ocean Beach, serving dinner to LGBT Seniors or helping out at someone's favorite charity.  Our next event will be partnering with Golden Gate Park on Saturday, May 12 from 9:45am to 12:30pm. Read more about the BRIDGEMEN experience here, or to get involved contact Frank.
  • Community Service Orientation: Get together over dinner to talk about our next community service project and what we need to know to be prepared. It's definitely a relaxed and enjoyable setting to bring up whatever questions you have.   Our next orientation is Wednesday, May 30th. For more info contact Frank.
  • Social Gatherings: Bring your friends or fly solo and make new friends at one of our relatively low-key events. Contact Leo to learn more about this month's event.
