STOP AIDS: BLACK PLUS

PLUS is a two-day intensive, experiential, and educational weekend workshop.  If you are newly-diagnosed or newly dealing with your status and are interested in getting the best info and support to better your life experience -- this weekend is for you. Our goal is to give you the knowledge and support you need to confidently deal with being an HIV+ Black man in the Bay Area. Topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Nutrition: Eating for Life
  • Mental/Physical/Spiritual Wellness
  • Better Treatment Options
  • HIV 101
  • Insurance Options
  • Public Benefits and You
  • Relationships, Sex and Disclosure "How To's"
  • Being HIV Positive: Doing it and doing it well
