Can You Tell if Someone is HIV Positive?

There's not a simple answer to this question. It's both 'yes and no.'

We've all heard 'don't judge a book by it's cover.' Well, that applies to drawing conclusions about someone's HIV status without asking them directly. If he looks like he has HIV, he might have another health condition. If he looks healthy & vibrant, he might be HIV positive. Our best advice is to be straight up. Ask him !
